Czech reading: support an answer with the text
An answer based on a text must follow what it states or unambiguously implies. Separate supported information from something merely possible. An absent detail is not automatically false.
| Example | Reasoning |
|---|---|
| „Lena přišla do knihovny s batohem.“ | The text explicitly gives the place and backpack. |
| „V batohu měla svačinu.“ | This is possible, but the first sentence does not state the contents. |
One worked example
- „Lena přišla do knihovny s batohem.“The text explicitly gives the place and backpack.
- „V batohu měla svačinu.“This is possible, but the first sentence does not state the contents.
Watch out: A question asking your opinion can go beyond the text, but label it as your own reasoning.
